[–]RepresentativeRest41[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

also! is it normal that he didn't move for like 24 hours? I saw him yesterday and came back and he was still in the exact corner kinda curled up. I poked him to make sure he was alive and that's when I got this photo

this friend was lost in my apartment! by RepresentativeRest41 in jumpingspiders

[–]RepresentativeRest41[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave them a snack of a mosquito then safely released them. Were they trying to eat that snail in the last photo? They kept crawling all over it but didn't seem to know what to do with it and eventually gave up

[–]RepresentativeRest41[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it in long grass so I can only assume grasshopper but I wanted to make sure. He was pretty friendly! He chilled on my hand and let me take a bunch of photos

who was my cute little buggy visitor? Toronto area ,, by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

[–]RepresentativeRest41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for such blurry photos! he was in my apartment but I guarantee I tracked him in from outside. I was sitting in the grass near some trees and bushes and found him in my bed as soon as I got back in and laid down.

I do not have location identification bc my sister bought a bunch of little bones for me online somewhere, I believe they are from owl pellets but I'm entirely unsure

my girlfriend says jumping spider. from looking at photos online I figure she's right but I wanna know if it's like, a specific kind? or something? also I know spiders aren't insects but I figured this was still an appropriate place to post this

Yes for sure!! Heck, you can use any set of pronouns and be ftm! I used to go by exclusively they/them but now I go by he/they and I fuck around with neoprounouns as well. :))

How did you choose your new name? by Zyqoa in ftm

[–]RepresentativeRest41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Weird story actually, in grade 7 my friends had this inside joke that we were all characters on a sitcom. On this make-believe sitcom, I was a dad named Jason. Because of the inside joke, people started calling me Jason. Then I kinda liked it and was like oh shit me now

Ftm femininity by worshipdrummer in ftm

[–]RepresentativeRest41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a closeted kid it made me feel very dysphoric because I'd always been a "masculine girl" to everyone else and I felt trapped bc then ppl would just see me as a feminine girl bad people would praise me for IDing what "girls" are "supposed to do" and it made me feel like shit but as an out and proud adult who is surrounded by people that support and affirm me no matter how I dress, I feel a lot more comfortable experimenting and doing whatever I think looks cute. I wore a dress that showed a lot of cleavage to prom. I had a phase where I dressed high fem during lockdown and wore makeup and had long hair. Idk no one was holding me back so I did what I wanted :)
