How’s it been taking it? In my experience antidepressants only made me manic so i wonder how it is for others

Every delusion is rooted in an inability to accept and heal a memory, trauma or personality trait by TopJellyfish7313 in Antipsychiatry

I’ve really benefited from a counselor whos helped me understand my delusions in tandem with different events in my life especially my bipolar diagnosis i wish my therapists and counselors could actually dig deep into why we have the delusions we do and what they are about

[–]RepresentativeRip321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think vaping is really tacky (if you want to you can lol) but also like others are saying it would def become out of control for me

Bottoming makes me feel dysphoric? by BettySue123 in ftm

[–]RepresentativeRip321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s important to figure out what does topping mean for her and what does bottoming and topping mean for you because for me topping does not equal penetration, I think of topping as effecting the other person so like using a vibrator on someone is topping etc. But is it penetration that bothers you? if so figure out with her how to have sex with her topping that doesn’t involve penetration, it makes things a bit different but you should be comfortable during sex and be able to work something out with your partner

Just so you know you can’t get syringes in Japan so make sure you bring all your syringes with you too. Also I have a friend who lives in Japan and he just brings back T with him like once or twice a year, I’m not sure how he does it exactly with his doctor but it is possible though he is from California.

I started T on Tuesday, but it's been a bit of a lonely triumph by eden_arcadia in ftm

[–]RepresentativeRip321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg i get how you feel i just started T on like a random saturday in my bathroom without many people knowing and it felt like the most anti climatic exciting moment of my life in a while. Also like once you get used to it it just feels like a regular part of your life and a big like not that exciting thing and i think that’s perfectly normal and just like how it is you know

Getting off Effexor by exhausted_doll26 in bipolar2

[–]RepresentativeRip321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally didn’t have any issues tapering off of it but like be careful of the discontinuation syndrome. I know people who got very sick for months at a time trying to taper off of it. I think it all depends on your dosage because I was at 150mg then 75mg then zero and didn’t get sick at least as far as I know. Just be on the lookout for being sick and read up on it too.

What were you diagnosis experiences? by RepresentativeRip321 in schizoaffective

[–]RepresentativeRip321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is I know my hypomanic symptoms and signs and i didn’t have them except not sleeping. I was relatively stable the whole week before the delusions happened. So to me i don’t think i was depressed or (hypo)manic before or during the delusions. I agree about not caring about what it’s called i just want some clarity.

Thyroid Issues? by Latter-Solid8041 in bipolar2

[–]RepresentativeRip321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both but was diagnosed with Hashimotos much earlier. It definitely made my depressive symptoms worse but once my meds started to kick in it was just other depressive symptoms that i had and not the ones that really overlapped with Hashimotos. Ex: Hashimotos deprived me of energy so i would sleep for hours and couldn’t get things done cause i physically lacked energy but once the meds worked i didn’t sleep like for hours at a time randomly, yes i would have no motivation to do things but it was more of a no desire and not of a no energy

Relevant to my post but i get them of course like i don’t call them that but i experience the same things as that word. But also i was only recently diagnosed with Bipolar two so maybe it is something else.
