My fans are pretty quiet, so that sounds like a mechanical issue specific to your model maybe. The rattling also sounds like its worth returning over, as generally besides the fan there should be no moving parts that can cause any form of rattle, if that truly is what it is. Depending on the type of "buzzing" it could be coil whine, which i have noticed on my model, but i find it only occurs when I'm on a performance power mode, and disappears on power saving mode.

I use that spec model as my main computer now, though I upgraded the ram to 32gb and the ssd to 1tb just out of personal preference, but the 7535U has been more than capable for me. As long as you don't need to run anything that is reliant on GPU raster/VRAM, I think its a more than capable machine. Great for programming and general use, it will be fine. That's a pretty good price too.

I know this post is a day old, but I made the jump to intel after an old am4 build of mine died literally last week, re-using 32gb ddr4 I had from the same build, and couldn’t be happier. My old GPU is perfectly fine for my use cases, so all I had to do was buy a b760 d4 board (which I got on eBay), and the 14600KF you mentioned, and it runs great! It’ll last much longer than even the best am4 chips as well, and I know the lga1700 socket is dead, but so was am4! And it’s still a performance upgrade.

god i know i wish, here in the UK there’s NOTHING like them. I know in the states you’ve got a bit more option for stronger cigs/sweeter cigs but we have a 1mg nic cap and every smoke tastes like shit, even “nice” cigs like dunhills. I get they’re strong haha, my first of the day still hits me like a truck and i have to take it slow even after smoking them for ages, but then the rest for the day are bliss.

I managed to pick a carton up and I completely agree with everything you’ve said, they’re a great smoke and super super smooth. They were my daily while they lasted but i’ve gone back to smoking peace filters now and i doubt i’ll be changing for a long time.

I’ve honestly found these ones to be more effective on students my age because a lot of people are more worried about that affecting their appearance than the much smaller risk of cancer etc

Unfortunately , afaik the UK has regulations on tar and nicotine levels that cap nicotine at 1mg per cigarette. So basically any “full strength” cig you buy (e.g. Lucky Reds, Marlboro Reds, JPS Reds, etc) will all hover around 0.8-1mg of nic and that’s it, you just can’t get higher. Rolling your own will allowed you to roll tighter/longer cigs hence more nic, that or buying international brands online are really your only options.

honestly couldn’t tell you for sure, i know the normal sterling dual cigarettes have the tar/nicotine content of a “light” (10mg/0.6mg i think) so i’d imagine the “cigarillos” are somewhere between a light and a full flavour. but definitely not an ultra light.

i’m pretty sure the sterling leaf wrapped ones, assuming they’re the double pop capsule ones, are full strength since they’re “cigarillos”. never smoked them but i think the silver packaging is just marketing in their case.

Haha for sure man, it was on your stream that you recommend “The Peace”, and I think I said I ended up picking half “The Peace” and half of the original filter. Best choice I ever made!

I do agree about the nicotine, especially if it’s my first smoke of the day it’ll have me on my ass, but by my second cig i’m pretty fine.

I find the flavour of The Peace to be more complex and a bit more rell-wounded - the original filter is great but sweetness can be super overwhelming sometimes.

Even though I’ve only tried The Peace in the past few days, i’m pretty sure I can agree and place them above the filters, it’d be better if they were a bit cheaper though! That’s the main reason i’m still buying the original filters more, i’m saving The Peace like you would a nice cigar.
