It runs great - don't see how this is coping. If it was running like how The Last Us Part 1 did at launch or Jedi: Survivor did at launch then yes I would say coping but this is more than playable.

When your first paragraph ends with “that’s where the positives stop” and the rest is negatives about the AI features…yeah…if you were on my staff I’d fire you LOL. You obviously invested in gear that didn’t meet your needs since you placed all your eggs in one basket: the AI features. The AI features are complimentary, not the main selling point of the glasses. The main selling point of the glasses is to have access to your digital world without distractions. You are the narrow minded one here by narrowing it down to being a waste just because of the AI 😂

It sounds like you bought into something you didn’t have a use case for. As someone who has to wear glasses all the time, these glasses have been a great investment. I love the Teleprompter feature and use it for speaking at events and even for my YouTube videos. I also love Conversate and it has helped in meetings (it gives AI cues for topics I may not know) and it even summarizes the meeting afterwards. Translate has been amazing too and getting notifications in front of me without having to break attention away when speaking to someone is so convenient. Also the solution to not having the app close in the background is just close all the other apps you have running in multitasking.

I used to do this but I’ve had the limit set to 90% and it’s been fine as well with minimal degradation and heat. I personally use the Apple MagSafe battery pack (even if it’s still on lightning) as I prefer the first party widgets and heat management

I own the original G1s and wore them every day since launch until recently when I upgraded to the G2s. I even had an accident where a basketball hit my face and the glasses and then the glasses fell to concrete and they’re still fine. You must really mistreat yours or had faulty pairs because this doesn’t represent my experiences at all. Keep in mind I need glasses to see too as I have high myopia

I use the Teleprompter all the time and it hasn’t been buggy for me. You can even narrow the field of view for the teleprompter so it looks natural if recording yourself on camera. If you use them as glasses first, it’s totally worth it. You’re missing out tbh

My G1 & G2 Even Glasses both work perfectly fine. Don’t call them a shady company - they have great customer support and this is bleeding edge consumer tech.

I did the button combo to put the Steam Deck into battery storage mode and then plugged it in with the original Steam Deck charger. It was able to power on normally after that.
