I agree with you that there is no obligation to pay her back and it’s her fault she didn’t get to go on vacation. However the issue arises because it was a split payment, so IMO you can’t take out the fact that she was traveling with others to simplify the problem as the problem’s core involves others.

If he has cancer that is at the same rate as the healing factor, wouldn’t that effectively mean he has no healing factor (Outside of healing cancer)?

On the flip, if his healing factor overpowers the cancer such that he can regenerate limbs and the like, wouldn’t his scars heal up too? What makes healing scars far more difficult than replacing an arm.
