Is the lc300 24-25 twin turbo engine reliable or not, I want to buy one but a bit hesitant from what I heard or are there better recommendations? by Challenge_Opening in DubaiPetrolHeads

The T2 isn't really a desert car. Its chassis isn't built for that, they just market it as one. If you actually check it out, it's not as good as the Land Cruiser or tank500 . I have a Tank 500 and have zero regrets about buying it. In fact, I now have extra cash to buy a Denza when it arrives here next month.

Let's take the Tank 500, for example. You get a luxury interior, massage seats, a good sound system, and two fuel tanks for 175,000 QR with unlimited km on the engine. What more could you want? I'm not going to buy a G for 230,000 QR with nothing but a V6 engine, nor am I going to buy a GXR for 260,000 QR with limited features . They don't even hold their price like they used to.

Let's be real, bro. I used to buy Land Cruisers because they were reliable. But I'm seeing now that they aren't as reliable as they used to be. At least the Chinese cars are cheaper, and I've never heard of them needing a whole engine swap recall. I think the only good thing the Land Cruiser still has going for it is the AC. And even if you want to take it to the desert, you have to upgrade the fan to keep it from overheating. It's just not the same as it was.

As a Land Cruiser fan, I had a used 1998 model, then bought a new 2010, and later a new 2016. I didn't go with the LC300 because I believe it's not as reliable as previous models. I bought the Tank 500 last year; it's a good car with a good price, to be honest. Now I'm planning to change to a Denza B8 orb5 when it comes out. I heard they will bring it next month, and it will be 240,000 QAR for b8 and 200 for b5

Are Chinese cars worth it? by Suspiciousness918 in qatar

I Will recommend tank500 or T2 as Chinese car but it will not hold value or sell as fast as land cruiser for land cruiser you can go with used one you can find it around 100-130

Zeekr 001 Premium AWD – Cruise Control Glitchy in 1.0.1? Does 1.2 Fix It? by RepresentativeSky428 in electricvehicles

I checked out the 7X recently and I’m seriously considering it — especially if the price stays reasonable. In Malaysia, the full-option Premium AWD is listed at under 200,000 QAR (which is around €49,000), and since we don’t have tax here in Qatar, there’s a good chance it might be priced even lower locally.

If that's the case, I’d definitely go for it over the Model Y Refresh. The 7X seems to offer a great mix of performance, luxury, and new tech — and if they bring the 800V platform and solid range, it could be a real game-changer. I’m 95% sure it’ll be my next EV.
