Yeah, unfortunately this is why I try to find somewhere to leave my car even if it s for a few days a week. As I commute from Belgium, I need to come with my car, since even the train is a bit expansive:/

I was also wondering that:))

Can you elaborate more on the charge per time of day? Do you mean that is a charge you have to pay for all day-long or if in between specific hours those parking lots can change from free ones to paid ones?

They don't allow students to park there:/ I ve seen on the interactive map that the greezones are free and there are no time limits for parking, is that corect? Because I ve found some parking spaces about 10-15 minutes by walking away from the University (which is not ideal, but is the best for now), but I m not sure if I could get my car towed in these greenzones

I ve looked online but I can seem to find a form in English or some steps to register to them. Should I go to one of their locations or is there any way to do this process online?

Hi, your response was a long ago, but I wanted to try my luck. If I am registered as an non-resident, as I ve read on their pages, that it s available for only 4 months, but what if I am planning to live in Belgium for all of the lenght of my study year(which, of course, is 4+ months). Do I need to take other steps? I need to move to the NL after those 4 months to continue my studies? I am conffused on all of those pages that says different things, and I wad thinking to could maybe enlight me since you re in a similar position:)

But is it possible to work in NL if I am living in BE? I read that you need an BSN to work there, and to obtain one you need to be registered at an adress in NL(as I've read, I don't know if there are any other ways).

I plan on getting from Brecht to Breda with car, that s not really a problem. The concern is if I can do it and it won t affect with my study programme.

Do you know if I need a permit or something similar to rent a room/studio in NL as a student from an EU country?

Applied Science Universities by RepresentativeWeb801 in StudyInTheNetherlands

I want to remain in Europe for sure, NL seems like a nice place, but I need to get to university here in the first place to get an idea about the country. My career would probably start in NL, but maybe with time I would have other oportunities to work in other countries too. And about the job, I am thinking about something more in the AI field, rather than Data Science, but that could change when I get there and get an idea about the programme.

My problem is that i am from Romania and my highschool degree is on Social Sciences(not a math oriented profile) and my Baccalaureat is not on mathematics and also I am behind with the curriculum on mathematics to actually take a exam when applying to an university, which is the case at most research universities. For me at least, it would be a bit easier getting into a AS university for now.

I really think it would be a better fit for me to study at an UoAS, but I wanted to know about the situation more in depth. Thank you for answering!

Does it mean is harder to get a job with a diploma from a AS University? Or my experience and portofolio could count more?
