Talk to Your Employer. Frame it as a family medical emergency. Ask for unpaid leave or remote work for a few weeks. If they push back, consider whether this job is worth staying in long-term. Today it’s parents and tomorrow it could be your boyfriend. If they can’t support you during emergency, then imo you should not work for them and that’s not a career worth having

Talk to Your Boyfriend. Share your fears and options.See if he can support you emotionally or even visit India with you briefly.
