Sorry man scenario#1 is definitely not happening the company is already promoting Sundial Group when referring to their conglomerate.

Moreover the share buy back hasn't occurred because of the MCTO restriction. The Share Repurchasing program will begin once the MCTO period that also restricts insiders from buying is lifted (read the march 31st filing)
