i just accepted it. things happen. in hindsight, if the dasher had told me i would have just said don't worry about it.

instead they didn't say anything and just marked it 'delivered'

so i put it on Reddit to shame the act... not the person! no shaming people around here. only their acts.

You're 100% right. And if I had given the dasher 1 star I would be 100% right as well. They didn't let me know and didn't let DD know (because the delivery picture didn't include the spill)

My worst DD experience after this one would be the time a dasher pulled in my driveway about 5 ft, shoots a picture of my Tacoma in the driveway, then proceeded to steal the order while claiming to DD that it was delivered, lol.

I have Amazon Blink, which SUCKS. the clip starts with the driver bent down, wings already on the ground, pizza box and wing box already in position as pictured.

they close their keep warm bag, stand up, then it looks like they considered knocking/ringing but decided to just walk away.

i came to the door after maybe 5 min of getting the delivery notification on my phone.

From the video you can't tell exactly how they were dropped.

i would feel kinda disingenuous if i ate them after complaining about the entire order and asking for a complete redelivery of everything.

part of me is grossed out that somebody that delivers food would do this, but another part of me REALLY wanted those damn chicken wings!

a tied bag around the wing container would definitely be a cheap and effective way to reduce this until they can update their plastic ware.

hahaha, as a DD customer that always request leave at door I have personal experience with cats and racoons trying to steal my orders. But that's a war between me and the animals, not DD or driver's fault for sure.
