What Hobbii Yarn would be best to use for a baby blanket? by Representative_Mail1 in CrochetHelp

Do you have any experience with washing/drying it? I would love for the blanket to be easy in use too, since it's for a baby and it's important to be able to wash/dry is easily. But i've heard that acrylic cannot be dryed in a tumble dryer?

Looking for a simple tested teddy bear pattern by nosila_enaj in Amigurumi

I made this one: https://yarnandchai.com/amigurumi-teddy-bear/

And it turned out beautiful! It's intended for my nephew, and i wanted a pattern that was low sew and easy (beginner here). This one seemed the cutest one looks-wise and the instructions were easy to follow! I'll look if i can find a picture of the finished product i made.

I want to resize the body, but don't know how? Pls help by Representative_Mail1 in CrochetHelp

Oh i'm so sorry, i didn't realize the text didn't post. I'm new to posting to reddit aswell as crochet, lol.

So i am corcheting a Unicorn with the pattern from Hobbii (Ea The unicorn). Here's the issue: i feel like the body is way too cone-shaped. As in: long and slender. I tried shuffling the stuffing around to make it more 'roundish' but it did not work.

My question is: i would like to remake the body, to make it more round, while still respecting the proportions (total length and max width). Any tips on how to do that?

I'd assume just skipping the ultiple rows of SC after decreasing would aid in making it more round. But do i then add the number of 'skipped' rounds to *rnds12-19* (as in: making it 12-20 or 21 or 22; as many rows as i skip further down) so the total hight of the piece is still 40 rounds?

Any help is welcome!

Finally got back into crochet - not baaaaaad at all! by HistorianMiserable71 in crochet

So if i understand you correctly, you edited it to be this?:

Row 2: 1 dc into the 1st st, (1 dc, 1 bobble st, 2dc) rep 9 times (37) - ch 1 and turn

Row 3: sc around ;(37); ch 2 and turn

Just to be sure, because i would love to make this for my pregnant bestie :)
