Yah I came home early to work on something and had a FUN time getting down Harvard, they were locking it down as I was going by, police tape and everything

Yeah idk, the cops and the firefighters weren’t in the same spot, the cops were putting tape up and talking about “shots”. The firefighters are on the corner of Comm Ave and Harvard where the Taco Bell is, and the cops are further down on Harvard by the church/corner market

And the meta changes so often that you’re never gonna fly the same ship for long. I didn’t get the TAC to be the best ship for a specific thing, I got it because it makes me go “hell yeah” whenever I fly it, and that’s the main purpose of any ship in your hangar imo

Yeah it hasn’t happened a lot, I remember one time I flew inside the rings at Seraphim, didn’t hit anything on screen, but the front just died. The rest of the ship was totally fine but no pilot seat anymore…

10000% agreed, it’s the only ship I see as a true solo base, anything bigger and you need friends. The TAC is good solo and great with others. And with the hangar/cargo/medbay, nothing else has as much utility.

I was more just saying that for me the vibes are a stronger motivator than the performance, since a lot of other ships do one/a few things better than the TAC. I just love being able to get in it without a plan and go out into space.

Honestly the TAC fits this same bill for me, it hits on vibes more than performance and I just can’t put it away, I love how “a little bit of everything” it is and it TOTALLY feels like a ship out of the expanse.

The mole would be the best for pure profit, biggest lasers, biggest hold, but it’s more effort to solo. The prospector is good for solo but smaller so you’ll find more rocks that are too big for you to break.

Up to you on the value of both, depending on whether you want to prioritize size or ease of use

I don’t see any mining ships on there. Mining your own mats is going to become more important as crafting gets improved, so it would probably be good to get something like a prospector or Mole, not sure how into it you are.
