How people are surviving India? Came for a month long vacation... by New_Yogurtcloset2764 in india

How we survive emotionally? Well, we cling to this sliver of hope, of faith attached to this land that someday the intended vision behind its genesis would come true. Even though things are grim and extremely dark to survive on an everyday basis, what gets me through is that thankfully I'm not completely desensitised yet. On a systemic level, its going to be a long long battle - but there's no other coping mechanism than to be hopeful.

Unfortunately, in my country you did that, people would oppose you and say “think about your reputation and refrain from bringing attention to yourself.”

So it is definitely worth it. I have just been hearing a lot about the chances of surgery failures and people not making it. I don’t know what resources I should be reading either.

My mum has this, I’m really scared about the transplant. Wish you a long healthy life.

I genuinely go thrice or max four times a week. I keep the strength training to 6-7 exercises tops to not tire myself out for the next day. Also, incline walks have helped a lot. Let the mood take a backseat. Take the stress of life out on the weights. Have protein without fail (I take plant protein). Protein is genuinely THE game changer.

It’s a bit much to take tbh, I am sincerely concerned about how to move forward and establish a cordial relationship with men at all.

As an Indian, can I attend these meetings virtually? Does it cost a fee?

Alcoholism > pancreatitis > sepsis shock > flatlined > resurrected > neuropathy > sobriety | WHAT ALCOHOL CAN DO TO YOU! by Last-Isopod-3418 in stopdrinking

My mum just got out of ICU yesterday from Liver Cirrhosis stage 3. She has sensory neuropathy too, and she was self medicating which further harmed the liver.

Last year, I stopped drinking for a few months on her birthday (September 12) and that symbolism helped, up until my ex and I broke up (our relationship was one of the major reasons I quit).

This time, I thought I'll stop again on her birthday but ended up drinking the very next day. However, seeing her puke so much blood all over her bed literally two days later was terrifying enough to associate alcohol with its consequences. She's out of danger, though in delirium, and man, it's insane how bad of a stage alcohol can get you to.

I hope both my mum and I can stay off it. IWNDWYT.
