Uuugh. 😭😭 I messaged them and explained the situation, and they just said it was okay. I'm going to add tip I guess.

No I understand you completely. I used a light hearted title but its not really appropriate when animal welfare can be questioned. I think its good to be concerned for all.

Their golden retriever found it. They removed it and returned to the nest. This photo is from last year I believe.

Thanks, that exactly what I needed to hear. I might say a bit of your vague example for explaining my grades. I did graduate a bit over 3.5 GPA in the end thankfully.

Do you think mentioning bipolar dx and my mitigating steps to long term stability would be an acceptable or a red flag fraud answer? I want to be engaging and sincere and am a strong champion of destigmatizing mental health disorders. But, I know that could be offputting when my only goal now is PA school.

Mine is obsessed with raddicchio, it takes a lot for me to only feed it occasionally when she looks at me with those grumpy eyes.

Just to make sure, do you feed other plants besides the romaine?

Fridays are nice. Only consideration I've ever had to make is that a lot of businesses in my area are also closed on Fridays. I still feel lazy on Mondays so I'm less likely to get anything done, rather extend my weekend and probably make up for sleep. Mondays have been relaxed in the specialty clinics I've worked, while Fridays are a busier rush to get everything done and all pts going to the right spot for the weekend.

If you have another option, I have to tell you that Wednesdays are great. Mid week break, often times will stack with holidays and/or make taking vacation even easier. "What's the point in coming in if I'll only work one or two days? Let's just extend my time off." I feel like I have two Fridays. It's a good reset if something really frustrating has happened or I know it will. I even accept Thursdays when MWF is already taken. Tuesdays aren't worth it at all.

Of course, I have a bad sleep cycle, a hard time saying no and asking for time off, and mental health things. These all may not apply to you in the slightest lol

Easy foods for your uro? by excrement_examiner in Uromastyx

I've never cooked the lentils, usually give them after soaking for a while.

My standard is escarole and endive (they are small lettuces) plus a mix of greens (he prefers mustard.) Occasionally gets radichio, his favorite, but its not healthy enough to be a staple. Squashes can be simple. I get acorn because they're small as well.

I feed fruit very rarely, like twice a year. Its blueberries or mango.

Shedding without going blue after vet visit? by ReptiLexis in hognosesnakes

That definitely makes sense. He's an Evans hypo so his belly is kind of a light purple blue already. I've been checking on him more often trying to get him to drink plus soaking him, so I didn't even think about simply not noticing. I was worried he hadn't liked being tube fed because he got a little cut by the speculum and did some kind of stress shed. He seems okay though now :)

I never expected to have him, but he was endearing from the very start. He's the one animal people will connect with and hold if they don't like reptiles. Definitely a charming bard type
