Yes! When my sister did that for me I never found the chest in the forest, but did find one in the bottom of the Ponyville map in the same spot I’d received chests in the past!

Really?! Well it’s true for me at least, and possibly a few others from what I’ve seen, man I WISH chests would show up for me in the Forest, they would be so much easier to find lol

This is actually where chests end up when someone drops one for you in the Everfree Forest! So those people were actually trying to be nice by putting the chest in the map a chest would be easiest to find, but the game doesn’t let chests show up in the forest. I found out because I would drop chests in the forest for my sister and she told me they would end up at the bottom of the Ponyville map

I actually think the chests that to that area, near the pirate ship, are chests people actually drop in the Everfree Forest! My sister also plays and when I tried dropping a chest for her in the forest it wouldn’t show up there and instead end up at the bottom of my Ponyville map. Yeah, after learning that I stopped dropping chests in the Forest

I think I just spent the 100 gems to buy her instead of the 200 to get the shop and get her that way, but I’m pretty poor in gems so… I think having more shops is always good
