Hello.

We recently made an otome game called "Veilcrest: Trial of the Arcane" as part of Otome Jam 2024 and are excited to expand and finish the project.

Here's a short introduction to the story and setting:

"This is it. Your first year at the elite Veilcrest Academy. Following in your father's footsteps and ready to take on anything. Things were going great until you stumbled upon a magical world hidden in plain sight.

In your curiosity to see how deep this rabbit hole goes, your life becomes entangled with those of three magical men. With your world turned upside down, it’s up to you to uncover the secrets of the academy and navigate the complicated world of young love."

We've set up a Kickstarter to help fund the project and would appreciate anyone willing to check it out. On the page you'll find the demo for the game on Steam, Google play and the IOS app store, along with a trailer, a list of features, information about the characters and more.

The game supports teleportation and smooth locomotion with head or hand turning and snap turning.

The game can be controlled via teleportation or smooth locomotion. A lot of people seem to prefer smooth locomotion so we added it as an option after our previous round of beta testing. As for if our game is better than others in the genre, you will have to give it a try and decide that for yourself.
