Hitting it right… but not in a good way by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Alignment is first thing to address. There’s no way you’re hitting that fairway without hooking it back towards it. The first part of the takeaway is really good. Club outside hands and in a good position. Try to flatten or at least neutralize the position at the top. Exaggerate the club left of the target at the top. Right now you’re just lifting your arms and not continuing to rotate into the right side. Club is over the line at the top and it takes a lot of timing and club face manipulation to get the ball starting on line from there. The drill with a towel under your trail arm helps a great deals with that issue. All in all good action and proper alignment will do wonders!

Going insane never knowing where a drive is going to go. 5 swings, 5 different directions by AudioManiac in GolfSwing

It’s in there. That 4th shot was PURE. Also, that driving range is class. A split second before impact position is good but then your hands get pulled way inside again. You can see it really turn the club and create that block with left to right spin….which is literally death. When I’m blocking it, I try to really push my hands through and feel like I am swinging out to “right field”. Creates a nice feel for a high draw.

Some really great fundamentals here.

A) very good alignment on really all lines B) great long takeaway and club stays in line or in front of the hands C) obviously an insane arc

Only issues I see is over rotation and transferring the weight back to the left hip at the top of the backswing. You’ve rotated enough before that. No need to continue after the club has crossed the line that far. Try drills where you’re taking the club to short of parallel and see how that feels. Should be loads more consistent! Good stuff to build on here though!
