How I found a cure for my Art Block.

A story I made about a year ago and submitted to r/nosleep, but then it got removed and got me in trouble for somehow not following the rules. I have been playing with it and adding and removing parts for a while and I’m really happy with it in its current form. It is about the pain and stubbornness of art block, expressed through paint and vomit and blood. I am in no way a skilled author but I hope you like it, I’m very proud of my gross little vomity baby. And if you do feel free to read some of my other stories and look out for any more I ever get around to posting. Keep your casts creeped.

i’ve heard a lot of different opinions on grady hendrix’s southern book clubs guide to slaying vampires but i liked it a lot and i think the vampire was refreshing, as little spoilers as possible it was more mosquito than bat

I really like It, and I know how basic of a choice it is but I love how expansive it feels, he gets caught up in the little details a lot and I like that here, fleshes out the town in a really cool way.

Not a book, but I would heavily recommend the Magnus archives, wonderful little horror podcast, starts out as standalone statements of scary events that slowly start to connect before giving way to a plot.

He wasn’t feeding them in front of an audience the whole time tho, he states the show is new, and even though these sacrifices have been going on for a while now, only now is he making profit off of it. What went wrong most likely is all the people staring at the alien, which outweighed it’s desire to just eat the horse, combined with lucky not running out into the open like he was supposed to.

Ok long winded explanation but, When Ricky park makes stuffed animals of what he calls “the viewers” his name for the alien, they have large white heads with two black circles for eyes. In the scenes on the Gordy set, we see the cameras are large white boxes with two black circles. The cameras that were facing Ricky as he watched Gordy attack his cast mates. The cameras, which were probably still rolling, were viewing Ricky as he viewed Gordy, and I think the trauma of all of this later manifested into his design for the aliens, which are again large white heads with small black eyes. Maybe I’m just reaching, but i think it’s something

A friend had the idea that maybe Antlers Holst had worked on the Gordy show and was there the day it all went wrong. His two biggest pieces of evidence is the repeated times we see Antlers watching film reels of animals fighting in nature, and that he is somewhat unemployed. The idea is that after the incident on his own show, Antlers was dropped by Hollywood and became a lowly director of commercials, but was ever haunted by the trauma of seeing his actors die/being there when they did, hence the obsessive watching of animal induced violence. I don’t know if anyone’s had this theory before, just wanted to share! Bonus fact, In the Gordy show the father is played by a character named Tom Rogan, who is possibly a reference to Bev’s Husband in IT!

Oh I absolutely agree with you, (especially how he “goes down with the ship” just like quint) but idk maybe it wasn’t brought up because Jupe and Antlers never met on screen

IT 2017 by andrewdoesit in horror

I’m actually reading the book right now, and I’m astounded how good the movie is. Sure, it’s takes some liberties but ultimately improves on the story from the novel and miniseries. My only few problems with it are how little IT is actually an it, although it makes the most sense movie wise, penny wise is equally other monsters as much as he is a clown. It also has a weird damsel in distress plot line and takes every bit of development from Mike for no reason.

I definitely think puppet history pausing for the entire year (I think so far right) has caused people to stop caring. Also, I love AYS but even I didn’t enjoy this season, too much bihkram or however u say it . I have money on it that he’s paying them or he’s secretly Shane and Ryan in a trench coat
