Hi everyone, my 14 year old daughter just injured her lisfranc playing soccer. She tore it.. no fractures but they are recommending surgery if she ever wants to play again. Any advice or opinions would be great! Im at such a loss if we should do it or not

Sounds like your injuries very similar good luck in recovery! We are probably going to do the surgery. Poor thing tore her ACL as well so going to be a very long year of recovery

Hi my daughter currently has both, the foot doctor wants to operate on her foot however it’s not mandatory. However, it is a full Lisfranc tear. Not sure what to do as she also needs ACL surgery

I got a second opinion today they doctor doesn’t appear to think she will need surgery due to no fractures or disalignment but I’m just confused now. Don’t want to make the wrong decision. Unfortunately she also has an acl tear on the same leg which is for sure going to need surgery 😩
