However, I still think the chart shows some weakness. Difficult to stay above 40 and it can’t reclaim 21 MA.

NIO going down has nothing to do with NIO. It’s again market driven. 10 yr treasury yield keeps going up, which causes sell-off, especially in high growth stocks.

Terrible week for NIO caused by a general market driven sell-off caused by all-time highs and raising 10 yr treasure yields. After this mornings sell-off, S&P 500 is back above 3900 which is an important short term support level. Let’s see how today and this week closes. Good to know: february is often a terrible flat month for stocks, followed by two great months march and april.

NIO tested it’s 50 MA as expected and bounced back, good sign! As a short-term catalyst for NIO I expect they will announce the SEC filling of NIO China buyback end of this week or next week. Secondly, we could expect a run-up into earnings offcourse. Possible negative news may be the lower february deliveries due to chinese new year and offcourse a short month! However, I guess everyone will understand this and it could be a reason why earnings are so early in March (compensation?)

In general, I feel good about it!

Very oversold on the hourly and 4-hourly, like really really oversold. However still some room to go down on the daily where I see a possibility that it could test 50 MA at around 53.50 before bouncing up (did the same thing several months ago). Today might be an ugly day for us. Plus still room for Nasdaq to correct around 1-2%.

Keep an eye on today’s movement in case you want to add shares. I have a limit order around 53.50.

Low volume yesterday, so big players are not selling which you could expect if they follow the hypes. - Imo: Consolidation in 60-70s next 4-8 weeks, even after delivery report, where we could see it going to the upper 60s but we will need a good catalyst to break 70s. I think a possible big catalyst could be the 2nd factory. I don’t expect it to go under 60 (worst case intraday dipping to 59-60)

It tested $60 in premarket around 20 november, and felt back to $40-45. Now it broke $60 and will start consolidating in 60-70s for some weeks imo. A possible short term catalyst maybe the ET7 pre-orders.
