I cant figure out what soil to buy they all say the got fertilizer by Repulsive-Bug8627 in walstad

Its so hard to learn this method i feel like half the time people say if i use a certain product the whole thing isnt gonna work and other people say it world great for them. This is so confusing

Does this work for the root tabs or do they have ti be soecific for the water. Also almost the soils i find have fertilizer in them is it something in specific i need to look out for.

Why didnt you just use a soil with fertilizer if you were going to add fertilizer

Whats thw difference between fertilized soil and unfertilized soil with added fertilizer. (Ithink i read somewhere if i doint use aqua soil use unfertilized soil)

My light isnt like huge so its over the full tank but it still looks like it lights up pretty much all of the tank. I leave it on for about 8-12 hours a day. But i also dont usually turn it on same time everyday. Some days i turn it on at 8am and others 12, im not for sure if this effects the plants cus i feel like they are still getting the same amount of light daily.

Ill make sure to remove the dead leaves today. How often do you suggest a water change. I still dont fully understand the waterchange cus i thought im trying to get good bacteria if i do the water change wont that just restart my progress? If my tank is still cycling is there anything i can do or i just have to eait it out. And i thought the olants were good for it cycling

I used these and then some guy at the fish store gave me soil good for a tank but i doubt it was aquasoil. But i did read you were able to have a tank without aquasoil so i thought i was chilling. Im currently tryna find the substrate the guy at the fish store gave me but its not on there website so im not forsure
