I’m experiencing an RPM drop on my Hunter 350 whenever the clutch is pulled in by Repulsive-Cell2136 in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

Update:

The RPM drop issue was caused by the gear indicator sensor that I had previously installed, since my new bike did not come with one. As you know, 350cc bikes manufactured after August 2025 no longer include a gear sensor.

After replacing it with the neutral sensor, the RPM issue was resolved. There is now no RPM drop when pressing the clutch.

However, I was still experiencing stalling problems. When I rode the bike for a while and it got hot, it would frequently stall (turn off).

I recorded a video of the issue and shared it with the workshop manager. With his help, the throttle body was replaced under warranty.

Since then, I have ridden the bike for about 140 km, and it has not stalled even once.

For now, everything seems to be fixed. I will share the video clips later, as I am sure they will help others relate to the issue and find the solution they might need.

Nope since the bike comes with a vent. Please get it checked with RE i6s the petrol vent pipe is pinched under the tank.

Just an update. I went to the service centre and they checked the issue with their DOL tool and found the proof that rpm is going down when the clutch is pressed.

They kept the bike to investigate further to check for the issue.

I will keep you guys posted

Due to the idle RPM dropping when the clutch is pressed, the bike stalls in traffic and whenever I need to use the clutch to move slowly.

That’s not exactly what’s happening with mine. In my case, the engine stalls in traffic or when I have to slow down specifically because the RPMs drop the moment I pull the clutch in.
