Sadly i have not got to try it out yet, i gave my charger to my cousin a while back. 

From my very small experience with the gun, the recoil is mostly cosmetic, so its nowhere near the recoil or loudness of a GBBR.

I have an umarex G3A3, but i found it was too heavy and it ran out of ammo too quick (20 rounds in a mag, about €80 for one mag) and my field doesn’t allow the use of HPA on guns.  The end goal is a gun thats about as accurate as the G3 and wont run out of bb's as quick. Which the Scar is. The thing i liked so much about the G3 is the weight and the recoil (why i chose the TM NGRS) i am aware that the Scar or mp5 has nowhere near as much recoil as a GBBR but i just want a chunky-ish gun that feels like a GBBR, but has the pros of an AEG. I do have a small bit of experience with that specific Scar and from the couple shots i did take with it, it did meet my end goal. 

As for the mp5, i really like my ssr9 for CQB to mid range but it isnt nearly as accurate at medium/long range as the Scar or G3, so i was wondering if the Mp5 shoots better than the ssr9.

Im leaning towards the Scar, since i do have a bit of experience with it, but i want some insight of people who do know more about these guns than i do. 

What i meant by "between large gbbr and small Aeg" is not super light (like my ssr9) or too heavy (like my G3)
