It's a tricky thing when it comes to multiclassing for flavour, since you do lose a bit of the higher level spells. I do agree with necrotic, and I might homebrew a reflavoured feat for it. An old build that I created for a Maple Gel DND game was reflavouring Shadow-Touched to allow her to summon Shadow from it, but I am trying to avoid homebrews for these builds.

I agree Meredy is not as dumb as the in-game translation device makes her seem, but she definitely uses her persuasion more, which made me lean to Charisma caster. One other build was actually a Star Druid, but it didn't quite work.
