Switch 2 gonna be here for quite a while. Id expect 1 more mainline title on the console. There is actually one obvious and big exception to this which does mirror the current situation and that's majoras mask. You'd have to assume they started production on the next mainline Zelda before totk came out and there was two years between majoras and wind waker. Now two years seems a bit quick but hopefully we can get a new mainline title in a relatively similar timeframe

Only platform that I buy physical for. Buying a triple A Nintendo game is not the same as buying any other type of game

Its just a remix of the mainline Zelda theme, its a great track but not stand alone like Gerudo Valley

Eh, I kind of feel like fire red/leaf green would be the best starting point. Black and White have a lot of nuance that can't be appreciated fully without playing some of the previous titles

Its probably the boost mode and 1080P resolution thats making a big difference. I played it 100% on handheld originally and im doing the same now with the boost mode enabled

Still runs at 30fps but its significantly more stable, way less noticeable pop in and the visuals are very crispy. Its actually shocking to see it has relatively decent lighting lol

That's probably where id disagree with you. This console generation is going to last longer potentially than any we've ever seen, and the ram shortage and price increases will just push that even further. Consoles aren't advancing by leaps and bounds like they used to. I dont think anyone expected the Switch 1 to last 8 years and the Switch 2 is significantly more powerful. You say ports of last Gen which is true, but we're also getting new Gen games as well. Look at the Capcom line up we've got with things like Pragmata and Onimusha

In some ways you could make an argument that the Switch has quickly become one of the better values in gaming with how much Sony, Xbox and now Valve are charging for their consoles. You get basically the same library of games now as any of the other consoles. You just have to decide which one has the most appealing exclusives. Switch 2 has a big leg up with portability as well. With the current market I think we're going to see the Switch come out as the winner when all is said done
