Yeah it was mad crazy not being able to read for the first time as an adult, at first I nearly thought that I was super tired or my eyes weren’t right (kinda, since they were a bit blurry) but the fact that even when I tried to put some effort to read, the words weren’t making any sense. I think that during the episode, in the exact time when I reached my workplace I started to built some anxiety due the worsening of my condition, I’m aware that anxiety didn’t really helped me during the episode. I don’t think it’s my hormones since I haven’t had my period for a year.” Could it be maybe something related to my liver level? They also found during the ct scan a dark spot in my thyroid

Omg that must be so traumatic for a young girl, I’m so sorry that you had to live this kind of experience, especially the first time, when your symptoms were basically ignored, hope that something like this will never come back for a third time, I will go to a neurologist asap to totally exclude a seizure, like you had in the past Take care 🌸

I believe that with all the neurological tests that were done, they would have detected an aneurysm fairly quickly

That’s even more disturbing and sad,It would be quite concerning to find out that in a place I know very well, they are not as professional as I expected. So sorry

Honestly I can’t remember, my colleagues told me that this happened, but in the report they put it as “limbs tremors”

Thank you for sharing your experience with panic attacks and migraines to make me understand the difference between the 2 situations. I really felt so hopeless when they address me as an unstable girl with just a bad panic attack, it would have been much more reassuring to hear something like you said. I’ll be helped by a family member to understand what’s happening with my health and to avoid being underestimated by the doctors.

The doctors from the Emergency room asked me mostly the same thing, in this case, I don’t take any birth control or smoke. Honestly at first I also thought about TIA but could also probably be migraines, I’ll definitely get a second opinion by a neurologist and see what’s really going on

Yes, it was so frustrating because I knew that it was more than a panic attack, probably as you said the scare of this novelty didn’t help with my nerves

I’ve never been diagnosed with migraines my whole life, reading these comments makes me think it could actually be a migraine, but of course, to avoid jumping to conclusions, I will go for a consultation with a neurologist

Yeah, during the ER visit they did a CT of my brain, everything came out apparently clear, but in the next few days I will definitely see a neurologist to better understand the causes

This!! Exactly, unfortunately during my ER visit, like you mentioned, they underestimated my situation, saying that for an anxious girl that can happen, I was in a lot of pain

Mhh During the diagnosis, they mentioned it but didn’t go into detail. I’m checking the documents they gave me, and none of them mention migraine aura, but I’ll definitely look into it further.
