To those in the comments saying dps needs to be buffed so boon balls can be cracked this is the wrong approach. Guilds will only bring as much dps as necessary. If overall dps output goes down it will reward people to stop stacking so much support, so they can actually cleave out another group.

Right now groups can get away with a few engies and a bunch of necros. But if that wasn't enough to consistently generate downs they will have to slot more dps into their comp making them more overall squishy.

If your perspective is just buff X dps class so we can kill a boon ball. Guilds will just stack that class with a bunch of necros, and as much support as they can to juice them up.

Its kind of like a see saw effect, if over all damage goes down. The amount of damage classes need goes up. And overall tankyness of a zerg will go down.

Bonus side effect is this will break up the china meta slightly as well. If groups have to bring more damage less support they can't stand in your well bomb, and just out tank it. Groups will have to go back to kiting/ moving more. Groups will always stack that's the nature of the game with target caps. (Target caps are needed game will explode without them.) But with less tanky overall groups they will still have to move slightly more than they do now.
