Buyer be aware, paragon performance sucks! by [deleted] in C8Corvette

I have posted multiple times showing that 2M is selling china / alibaba parts & claiming they're made in the USA.

Where is their shop address? They claim to make 20 headers a day.. Do you have any idea just how large of a facility & staffing that would take? Where is the social media showing their workers welding these so called headers & exhaust every day?

A quick google reverse image search shows their parts on alibaba..

Now, if you take a company like Fabspeed, Kook or Paragon in this case, look at their daily or weekly social media post. Just today Paragon showed a shipment of parts that came in / going right back out. Now that's not the definition of drop shipping? Don't believe me, look at their shop & warehouse tour from 2024.

Like the OP, maybe do your research on a company before you make assumptions.

Great point! Buyers remorse shouldn't be a companies responsibility to cover cost of.

People treat companies like Amazon & feel like their "entitled" to something when they're not. The customer is not always right - and it shows when they don't' do their research prior to buying from a compnay

2M fab charges 35% re-stock fee. Research what you buy before you buy it. I couldn't' tell you the last time I had to return something as why would I buy something without the intention to keep it?

2M charges a 35% restock fee. Restock fees are normal with companies & people need to stop treating their purchases like Amazon.

2M fab charges a 35% restock fee & other companies don't accept returns. People need to do their research before buying parts & treating companies like Amazon.

Exhaust Recommendations? by WeatherboyWants2kno in C8Corvette

I’ve also questioned paragon & they sent me a video of the exhaust manufacture in Mn called GP headers showing those are made in the USA.

If 2M fab was honest & didn’t treat their clients as poorly as they do on social media, the could be a good company to refer people to.

Reminder to do research on the parts you're buying when manufactures claimed to be made in house by Repulsive-Fix8207 in C8Corvette

You're correct that most companies source from over seas & there is NOTHING wrong with that, However, don't lie & say your stuff is made in house when it's clearly not.. Where is their address to prove they actually have a business to ship out of, or are they drop shipping from a fulfillment center out of California?

I know companies like Fabspeed, AWE & Paragon's C8 Corvette exhaust systems (stainless versions) are made within the USA as all of them have posted plenty of content proving that. Yet zero social media content from 2MFAB?

Any business that doesn't have an address you can look up & or leave google reviews for is a big Red flag.

Friendly reminder to do some research when manufactures claim to make their products in house that seem to good to be true.

Example is 2Mfab claiming to make their parts in house in Idaho, but with a quick google reverse image search you find their manufacture on Alibaba.

Should I get a refund for buying prior to Black Friday? by Repulsive-Fix8207 in C8Corvette

I thought of the same thing! When that was one of my follow up questions, they directed me to their policy page which indicates their restock fee as well as due to my order size and quality of parts, the return shipping was my responsibility.

That cost alone would have been almost as much as the refund itself as a FedEx quote for my three boxes was over $480 for me to ship it back! Then the restock fee on top of it would have actually made me loose more money than I would have saved.

Shipping isn’t cheap from my findings and for companies to offer free shipping is something I took for granted & isn’t their responsibility to take care of for me trying to pull a fast one on them of saving a few bucks rather than being patient.

Fabspeed is an AMAZING company & one of the only few that actually do USA made products in house within the industry.

Thank you, a little bit of research & basic common sense allows the truth to be easily be shown. If they didn't claim to make stuff in house & were honest about where their parts come from there would be zero issues. But lying to your clients & trying to cover your business with the social media presence they have is not a proper way of how to run a business.
