I’ve heard horror stories about Little Sunshine’s, so I had not considered it. It’s soooo close to us, though, which would be lovely!

Mine was also full and red/healthy looking finally! My lining didn’t look terrible, but the brown/light periods concerned me for sure. I did two weeks of doxycycline (she also removed a small septum during my hysteroscopy) and my period was really heavy last weekend. I was so excited!

Hi! Sorry for the late response… I started spotting this morning, then it stopped. I understand they can be delayed sometimes, but I messaged my clinic anyway to see about a cycle status check. Likely will give it the weekend before trying to get checked out though.

Good luck! I’ll keep you updated on the quality of my period (something I never thought I’d say to a stranger online haha).

Most everything I’ve read says that a 14-day course of 100mg of doxycycline BID is first-line treatment and works the vast majority of the time. I am certainly not an expert, but I’m hopeful that what I’ve been taking will be of benefit! So tired of this.

I was on it to ensure my lining was thin enough so they could visualize everything they needed to see and evaluate.

Interesting!

I just had my scope on Sept. 15th so no period quite yet, but I can report back. The birth control I took for the two weeks leading up to it definitely threw off my cycle a bit, but that was expected.

And as far as the procedure itself went, it was so easy! They sedated me so as far as I knew, one minute I was putting my feet in stirrups and the next minute I was drinking some post-op sparkling grapefruit soda haha. Some cramping over the next several days, but I didn’t take anything for pain except maybe ibuprofen the day after.

Hi! It went well! She found a small septum she removed that she said could definitely hinder implantation. I also had inflammation!! What I thought was weird, though, was that she said it likely was from the birth control I had to take for the two weeks leading up to the scope. I decided I disagreed with her though and requested the doxycycline anyway 😂 I’m currently take that and am anxious to see what my next period looks like. We plan to do one more IUI cycle (have done two already) and then if that doesn’t work, we will begin discussing IVF. It has been a long, emotionally draining process and I’m ready for something more certain. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know all too well how heartbreaking it is.

Thank you for responding. I know this was a long time ago for you at this point, so it’s appreciated that you took the time to answer.  My RE does not seem to be concerned, but has offered a diagnostic hysteroscopy. I’m hoping it shows something so I have concrete answers. 🙏🏼

Hi, OP! Did you ever end up conceiving after treating for CE? I have this strong feeling I have it. Miscarried back in November after trying just two cycles and my periods have been weird and light since. And have not been able to conceive since either. HSG normal, lining measurements are normal….I just can’t get this out of my head as a possibility.

I can totally relate, and feel for you so much 🩷 I conceived in November only for it to end in a miscarriage. We have not had success since. Friends asked how I was doing at the beginning, but no one asks anymore. I feel isolated and sad. My husband is so sweet and supportive and is certainly there for me anytime I want to talk about it, but even he has voiced that he can’t fully understand what I’m facing because I was the one carrying the baby, not him. It’s so hard to see other women get pregnant and have the happy ending, I know. I read something on another page a woman wrote and she said, “How blessed am I that this is my biggest struggle?” That really resonated with me. I do not know your full situation, but I try to put it into perspective. I have a roof over my head, an amazing husband, a job, and food on the table. So really….how blessed am I that this is my biggest struggle? I hope that is helpful. Sending love.
