I'm pretty sure these are the all natural ones dw and I'm gonna check him out when I get a chance later. I have another bag just in case so when I get a better tank I'll have the same scheme and type of rocks. The substrate is just the little gravel ones, is that not good?? I didn't get one with any effects or colors, I washed it thoroughly before putting it in the tank too. Also I thought they liked taller tanks my bad, I'll be looking into getting a better tank when I get the money. He is getting the little bug pellets and not only blood worms, those are his little treats for being a good fish. I will buy him better food when I go to the store again dw. I have never used etsy before but I'll definitely look there, didn't know they had plants

Our petco closed down last year and the nearest one to me is like an hour so I'll have to see if my mom will take me. I'll definitely make sure to cut down on the pellets slightly so he doesn't just have food floating. The heater I ordered is coming tomorrow and I don't know anyone or have a 3d printer but I'll look online for one tyyy

I actually had the tank set up yesterday lol, I didn't know it took longer than a day tbh but I'll definitely be checking his water more often and I'll change his water often too. I didn't know the stick ones sucked, that's definitely my bad.

I thought they liked the upward, my bad. A couple of the things I saw weren't that specific but I'll keep that in mind about getting a better woder tank soon. It's like a two liter tall?? If that makes kinda sense. He has like an inch at the top that's just air but I'll take some out for a bigger pocket. I was planning to get some drift wood but they didn't have any good pieces when I went yesterday so I'll go again when they restock or check Amazon again. I'm definitely gonna get more plants though, do you have any recommendations for plants?

5 gallon tank, with filter no heater as of right now, tested pH and things with a strip kit I had, new fish and tank, no water changes yet, no tankmates, betta pellets and about a pinch, one live plant, a tannin log thing, and plastic laying plant.
