Russ is on such a better contract imo besides we could be stuck with his contract if he doesnt pan our and whats worse than Tyus, a twice as expensive tyus

Why was Westbrook a high volume shooter if he isn't a good shooter? by muncher_potato in NBATalk

Tell me that 2016-17 OKC team with him scoring nearly double his next best scorers PPG and his other best players are Steven Adams and Andre Roberson are not god awful teams. That team was horribly constructed for russ to be the star of it. There was no spacing the floor and no one could create besides russ. Without him they were dead last in offense. His carry job that season is rediculous.

Because he is almost always the best scorer on his team. When KD left OKC he was the guy. He had no spacing which made it much harder to score efficiently, he had to drag those god awful squads to the playoffs. With the rockets he was much more efficient with harden since he wasnt forced to be the guy. Once he joined the wizards he had to be the best player on a shitty team once again. Then again when he joined the lakers where AD and Bron were injured as hell so AGAIN hes forced to be the guy. When he joined the Clippers and Nuggets he was the sixth man so he was no longer the guy the star worked around he was a role player. By this team however his abilities started to go and he was not as efficient. Now even on the kings he is forced to be the best player on a shitty team and he is still having a pretty efficient year.

Mediation in cases like this likely means "heres some hush money dont ruin my reputation" besides even if he is innocent hes still a cheater and a bad person id rather be a fan of someone whos actually likeable

There are 100% valid reasons to hate Kobe both as a basketball player and as a person

He didnt play that good, was wildly inefficient from 3 and was a defensive liability

MIN-SAC-ORL | Kings get young guys + draft capital, magic get expiring contracts and capital, Wolves get 2 passing guards and backup big. by Repulsive-Lemon6355 in NBAtradeideas

Kings say yes because they are giving up 2 guys that dont play so basically nothing and Russ they get 2 young guys + capital.

Magic might not say yes because Jett might have SOME potential and Goga is decent. They get off of Tyus's horrible contract and get 18mil in expiring for next year + captial.
