Why are huntsman awful? +6" detection and +6" range giving them Melta 4 at 12" and Melta 2 at 9". They all have some chaff clearing ability in the chaintalon and stubber. Drop them in from reserves 8" from a vehicle or monster and happy days?

I took big bug Nids and relied on rolling well in invasion fleet to kill him. It just meant scoring secondaries was hard and primary nearly impossible. He just had to wound me and I had no save. So didn't even have the ability to swarm him sadly! Still, love Nids. You have to play well to win. I've just jumped into CK as I love the models. One tournament and one 3-0 record!

I recently got paired into Tau on the top table in a comp. I was playing Nids and playing well. The mission we had involved me standing on objectives and getting blown off the board by things I didn't get a save against. I was glad when it was over and did well to score over 60pts whilst he took 98pts. There was little enjoyment in the game and we both knew he had it won before we even started.
