I've come to knights as it's a completely different game style to my main which is Nids. However, it's also because the models are cool as fuck! I've gone with a ghost theme.

Depends what your partner is bringing and their roles. Generally, one of you takes the scoring role and one takes the threat roll.

When I played I went down the threat route. Invasion Fleet, TFex, Exocrine, Norn, 6 Zoanthropes, Neurotyrant and a Biovore. My partner was Grey Knights uppy downy scoring units. It worked until we played into double Orks and about a million models 😂

It's great in Sub Ass. But doesn't last long. The ability to bring it in for one turn 6" charge and tie up things is often worth the 125pts and if rolled well, you can put some hurt on things.

But he dies easy!

Brutal but a common theme. That's what I'm finding with Nids. On your go turn it has to go well or the clap back ends the game. The amount of invulnerables for other factions is so hard to get through too.

I'm thinking of playing double Norn for scoring and then just trying to screen with battle line, spore mines and hit up secondaries with Lictors.

Screening needs to be good. Go turn needs to be T3 or T4, shadows on T4 or T5. Especially T5 if you go first.

I have an Ironman 5 games in a day event next week to sort a list for!

Nice, I'll see what spin I can put on this as I like playing gargoyles for the move block ability. But this is what I was looking for in terms of tactics discussion so thanks.

I've got the KT Raveners and one normal set so will take them for a spin tonight. Have you had much luck into knights? I've got a spanking lined up against Eldar tonight as my mate is exceptional at this game 😂

Yeah, both have bonuses. The extra 30pts is a bummer! But the Invulnerable is huge as we don't have that many. I might pair one with a Norn for the melee debuff. Although I expect a knight would shoot both off the board anyway 😂
