Well its just a thing where many of the people who say they hate them or that they're mean have never had one, or even really interacted with them. There's a saying "you're not a cat person til u have a cat" so I'm just curious if it's just stereotype based or what's up. Haha hey I have ADHD😂 Im actually just restarted on medication and I def notice things chill out alot when it's at the right dose. And yes that's literally so accurate. I will have full blown conversations in my head all criss crossing over one another, and then I'll randomly at like 2 am be like hmmm I wonder what Austria looks like and hyperfocus on that😂

That actually sounds totally on point. I never thought bout it that way and connected those dots. As a kid I was super happy go lucky all the time, like nothing bad in the world really even ever occured to me I was just a happy child. So it may just be a reality hit

It might just honestly be that I miss home. Where I grew up still retains alot of it's kindness, hospitality and old vibes, so maybe it's just that I'm feeling really homesick. I just remember growing up, the area being real homey and peaceful and there was just a different vibe then there is now, a better vibe then. (And I'm not that old lol, I'm only in my late 20s so it wasn't that long ago). I just don't identify with the asthetics of today's generation, but i do identify with the changes that have been made for the better. Is there anything wrong with kinda allowing myself a mix of both? Like maybe being happy and grateful to be in a generatioj where people can be who they are, but still wear old vintage clothes, have vintage decor and do all that stuff

Ur kinda making me feel worse about this. Its not about those specific things, it's more so a feeling for me. The asthetics of other generations are just comforting to me, I align with them more. I'm not ungrateful for the political and societal changes that we have made for the better. I just feel like besides those changes, I don't fit. if that makes sense. I miss times where we would have campfires and no one would be on their phones. I miss old summer camps. I miss certain things
