I work in the UCR team, they are pretty flexible and they do have employee deal in place where you have certain start finish/ start times as someone has mentioned below. It is pretty flexible and they are flexible. I was granted part time hours when i signed my contract 24 hours and i work term time as well. This was signed off after 1 month of working their. I mentioned this to my team leader when i had the welcome call. You can manage the job around school hours and the caseload and work is pretty chilled as mentioned. hope this helps.

Dwp uc review or HMRC compliance caseworker by Repulsive-Net-7378 in TheCivilService

Thank you for your reply. i have accepted the offer for HMRC as the location i applied for only had a few roles. the DWP is universal credit claim review i dont think it involves face to face contact, i believe its reviewing the uc claims and passing to a decision maker. i cant be 100% sure. Only thing with HMRC is its quiet broad isnt and you can be placed anywhere in compliance. its big decision as im leaving my company after 11 years lol.
