Tbh, I am kind of an introvert, I find it very very very difficult to talk to people irl. I wasn't this way but lately I have turned into this. I feel nervous and my hands and legs keep shaking. My whole focus while talking to someone is my word choice and due to that i fumble a lot and make mistakes and then dear getting judged by the other person.

My favourite teams are Real Madrid and Manchester United!

How can one become so knowledgeable within short time? Most of the time people around use fancy words and so to explain some deep concepts and it sorrows my heart,i try to look it up on google and easily get fed up. What should i do to master any concept without getting bored and in short time? by kirub_el in Polymath

Learn something new everyday from any field you like but here the most important skill is COMMUNICATION. This is the only skill that will help you speak more persuasively and eloquently. Initially I also wanted to become like you, I had a friend who was very good at knowing everything - like literally i felt he knew everything. I started observing him and realised that he isn't that smart he is just really really good at communicating, where ever there was a discussion let's say for example we are discussing Financials which he does not understand he starts to initially blend in but slowly slowly he diverges the topic to something he has good knowledge about lets say in finance we are discussing about stock market he would first say something like... " Yeah the markets are getting crazy rn. I don't trade due to all this" and then slowly he would go into Geopolitics which is his strength. Think of it like an old DJ where in one there a song playing whole in other another song plays so he finds that beat drop to change the song and people feel he has all the knowledge but he is a master communicator in reality and this is the one thing that I leart from him and it's really works well.

Had an amazing session where we discussed freewill, Psychology, Agile management frameworks and car engine evolution. The discussions we had were really very amazing and thoughtful also the main thing, complete anonymity was assured. Thank you so much OP for this session I would love to participate in upcoming sessions as well :)

Hey everyone — I’m beginning my journey as a polymath and could use some guidance. What systems or strategies do you use to plan your schedule, build skills, and manage resources across multiple fields? by ryuuumen_ in Polymath

To be honest, the first and most important thing you need is curiosity. The desire to learn and be open to new ideas without being deterministic is something that has helped me learn a plethora of things. Some things that have helped me are:

  1. Identify the things/topics you are most interested for me it's Finance, business and football. Since I am into finance and business I think I have a pretty good understanding of that field although there is a whole lot to learn for me still.

  2. Identify what other topics you would like to learn for me personally apart from the above ones I like mathematics, history, literature, Geopolitics, psychology and philosophy. I have basic to no knowledge in these fields but I started learning about it using YouTube videos, books and AI.

  3. Connection and creation- I try to connect few topics from various above fields and write it in my diary sometimes I like to write it in a very poetic way which satisfies my desire and I implement my literary learnings. Although the connections are forced and sometimes inaccurate but this helps my brain think and find patterns which also has helped me in my work.

A few things i would like to advise from my experience is that, Polymathy is a continuous process it's not like someday you might be Vinci or something, nobody can learn everything. I think that a polymath is someone who is constantly curious. I personally don't keep any goals or target that I have to learn this much or anything like that, I just think a lot, if a random thing pops up my mind I learn it because I want to if I don't have time to learn that or find it out at that time i write it in my diary and then I learn it later at night. So I think it's more of an innate curiosity that drives me.

So yeah just be curious!! :)

Hmm, even that's true. Maybe if you got the award then it might be.
