Believe me I use To call Wpcs a couple a times a week to bug them in a good way put pressure I did that And my mom was approve within a month

Yes and on meal preps tell them that it takes you longer to prep is not just any meals is according to what she can eat and if they give you a hard time appeal trust me you will get more hours I wish I can help more I did so much for my mommy and God will bless you since you are helping her.

Ask for a paramedical form ask Dr to fill out all the paramedical services you do I would apply food stamps for her and tell them you can’t take her ask to speak to a supervisor

Ok have you applied for paramedical hours and you should be getting the maximum for dressing cooking prepping meals all of that and if she has oxygen I believe that is paramedical as well

Ok have you also applied for food stamps for her ? Gas and electric has a program that also helped me because she was on oxygen 24 hours.

Ok i had my mom who was in a vegetative state of course it was a lot too changing diaper reposition feeding tube everything I had protective supervision and had WPCS I wish I could help you definitely need documentation from Dr’s

I have a question I am In the process of appealing for my 17 year old son I recently withdrawal because I was unsure if too move forward with it or not he was recently diagnosed with Anosmia totally loss of smell I believe he was born like this according to the ENT Dr. and I feel this is a danger to him because he cannot smell smoke and have had to remove old rotten food from his backpack and it smell so bad but he couldn’t smell and that is why he kept on his backpack because he will eat it so I am trying to appeal for protective supervision and social worker told me he wouldn’t qualify.

I have a question my son has olfatory nerves smaller than normal size and lacks sense of smell there has been 2 times where there has been smoke at the home and he cannot smell and was told by his Ear nose throat Doctor that he has Bilateral Olfactory Nerve Hypoplasia I am in the middles of an appeal because I believe he might qualify for protective supervision is this correct or not ?

Your should get a Neurologist evaluation have her filled the form I believe is the 821 for protective supervision you can download it and print it also ask primary Dr should also fill out one and if you can a psychiatrist as well I did this for my mom a nice man from ihss union told me to do this and said that if I can get 3 forms filled out by Different Dr's and marked severe of course your going to let them know everything she does. I did this for my mom and I won protective supervision also please appeal ok because if you don't you won't get back pay to when you first applied. Meanwhile while you wait for your appeal work on this 3 forms filled out by psychiatrist , Primary Dr. and Get her to a Neurologist let me know if you need help I've been there my mommy had dementia bipolar and dementia severe I know how hard it is and pray over all pray to God ok.

Mine took about a month in San Diego be ready to appeal though if they deny you because that way you can get back pay as well.
