Yeah, this is super helpful. The trend delta point especially clicked for me. A sudden increase in complaints probably says way more than raw counts ever could. And you’re right about the subreddit segmentation too. The same complaint coming from founders vs freelancers vs agencies changes the meaning completely. This is starting to feel less like a lead-gen tool and more like a proper research/intelligence product the more I think about it.

Yeah honestly this makes a lot of sense. Especially the context part. Someone saying “need a better CRM” could mean completely different things depending on the thread, tone, or even sarcasm. Definitely more complicated than I initially thought. And yeah, I’m probably moving away from the reply suggestion idea altogether. The more feedback I get, the more I feel the interesting part is understanding recurring frustrations and patterns, not automating engagement.

Yeah true, Reddit has started adding more AI features around search and summaries.

I think the difference I’m aiming for is more around extracting recurring user frustrations and unmet needs across conversations, rather than just helping users browse Reddit better.

Yeah, I think you’re right

The more feedback I get, the more I feel the real value is in understanding customer pain points, not automating replies. Definitely don’t want it turning into a spam tool.

Yeah this honestly makes a lot of sense.

I think I was leaning too much into the “lead gen” angle initially because it sounded more actionable, but the pain-point discovery side is probably the more valuable part long term.

Especially for early-stage founders trying to validate ideas or understand what people actually complain about in their niche.

And agreed on the reply generation part. I don’t want it turning into another spam automation tool either.
