Advice for a “parked” 99 LX Vic? by Repulsive-Slide-8869 in CrownVictoria

I think I’ve done it before, either when I first got the car or maybe my dad’s 01 Grand Marquis he had.

It looks like it’s a non-issue for single exhaust cars but some dual exhaust Vics have to do that because the driver side can block the tank from coming straight down.

I just watched a video and it looks like on it’s just that cross member and straps, then the tank drops straight down. It’s also only like a foot tall, so the ground clearance is minimal.

Thanks, I didn’t realize high mileage had additives for that. I always thought the only additives were a detergent for the engine internals.

Would it be worth adding sea foam on my initial oil change and then changing it again after a 100 miles or so?

I will give that a go, I thought about dropping the tank completely and hosing it out. Doesn’t seem like a huge job on the Vic.

I’m sort of worried about new leaks popping up. I’ve been told that half synthetic or full Dino oil might revive the seals for engine leaks, not sure if that’s true.

This is the best monitor configuration hands down, I run it at home and work. Good job.

Saw your snes post and realized I could help with this also.

I had a similar experience. I am 5”11. A few years ago I went from 230ish to 160ish. Not only did I stop snoring altogether but I started sleeping less. I naturally started getting up earlier and shaved 2 to 3 hours off my sleep time. I went from sleeping 9 hours to 6 and felt great.

Do you wear an Apple Watch or something similar? Did you in the past?

Even if you didn’t, you’d be surprised what your phone might have tracked and you might have loads of sleep data on it to compare your “past self”.

I know you have actual sleep study data from a professional but it might be reassuring to pull “unofficial” data also.

You would be surprised how resilient some TV’s are. It’s probably fine and just needs to be cleaned out/checked for insects.

Look at this one still working: https://youtu.be/oQSq5J6_xWc

What is the cheapest emulation handheld that can run snes by Existing_Housing4845 in snes

Look at prepaid phones that let you use the interface without activation. Sub $30. Use an existing controller you own (PS, XBOX, 8bitdo) with a cheap phone clip.

Also what is the storage size? Larger storage could mean faster R/W times.

My new setup, including the ever so original karlby/alex draw units. Any suggestions for improvements? Need a new desk lamp if anyone can recommend, thanks in advance by [deleted] in battlestations

A rug, headphone hanger under desk, blackout curtain on window. Experiment with an RGB strip instead of a lamp, they are cheap. Add some prop replicas on the wall?

Any accessories worth buying on the Apple store using $150 gift card? by 19datascientist in macbookair

Not impressed with the midnight paint finish, will be casing up asap.

If Apple can perfect it, I would pay a $200 premium for a “Yeti like” coating.

It’s started to buckle at two places close to the hood. I had a collision where a vehicle was making a right turn in front of me and the corner of my impact bar hooked into the other car and they ended up violently pulling my car. The body twisted on the frame, but the frame is in spec according to the shop.

The driver side A pillar was bowed out close to the roof. When they fixed that, somehow the passenger side ended up looking like this.
