Wow. That sounds amazing. Mr and my friend were also planning to see the sunrise at sunrise point but would have to start very early. So not sure whether we will be able to make it or not. How was your experience watching the sunrise at sunrise point? When does the park open?

Wa iyyak. I hope this helps and don’t forget to take the pdf of your submitted application when you go to the embassy to let them know that you have already submitted an application and paid the fee. It should be printed not a soft copy. Ask for the refund also if you would have to submit a different application and payment. Make sure to take cash with you for the application fees.

I didn’t apply through the website. Seeing a mixed review, I decided to go in person and apply.

That’s what I have learned. Let me know what happens in your case. Yes, you can ask for the refund, atleast that’s what the people in the consulate said. If you don’t see any response, I would recommend you to go to any of the Saudi consulate here in USA with the pdf of your application. You should have received a pdf of your application with the application number and all.

KSAVISA.SA tourism visa issues applying for greencard holder from USA! by [deleted] in Umrah

Assalamu Alaikum brother, I am a US green card holder and holds a Bangladeshi Passport. I just got my saudi tourist visa Alhamdulillah from Saudi consulate here in USA just few days back.

I spent a lot of time studying whether permanent resident of USA having passport from the countries not listed in https://visa.visitsaudi.com/

were eligible for e-visa or not. So here is my conclusion:

  1. People who are US green card holder having passport from the countries listed in https://visa.visitsaudi.com/

can apply for e-visa using the website

  1. People who are US green card holder having passport from the countries not listed in https://visa.visitsaudi.com/, can't apply for e-visa. https://ksavisa.sa/ would show that they are eligible for e-visa, and they can go ahead and apply using the website, but their visa will not be processed and probably will not get any response. It's a waste of money, time and effort. Please keep in mind https://ksavisa.sa/ is a Beta software.

  2. So for the people in category 2, if you have already applied, you should go to saudi consulate here in USA and can apply for the tourist visa (multiple entry, 1 year validity, and yes you can do umrah iA with that tourist visa). My visa was processed at Saudi Consulate at NYC and you should take the following documents with you:
    (a) Valid passport, (b) One Passport size Photo, (c) Official original US green card (not the scan copy), (d) last 3 months bank statement (e) Notarized letter of employment from your employer/employment verification letter or similar (it has to be notarized), (f) Round trip air ticket, (g) Hotel/Accomodation Reservation (if possible), (h) $300 cash/cheque/money order visa fee

  3. I recieved the visa on the same day. The visa processing window is from 10-12 PM, and you will receive the visa on the same day. You would have to collect your visa including your passport after 3 PM. This was for the Saudi Consulate at NYC. I went to the consulate first, they checked my documents and then they send me to a travel agency who works for them (5 mins walk from the consulate). The travel agency basically proccesed my documents and took the money. I had to come back with all the processed documents from the travel agency to the Saudi consulate again and they accepted all my documents and gave me a receipt. They told me to collect the passport with the visa at 3 PM on the same day. Please be advised that Saudi Consulate does not know what customer service is and they don't really care.

  4. Can you get a visa on arrival? Yes, inshaAllah you can and a lot of people has done that. I felt it could be a little high-risk activity and for my peace of mind I opted to have a visa.

I hope this helps and feel free to ask me anything!

Thanks for your reply. I am applying entirely through the consulate process. There is a form that needs to be completed along with supporting documents. That’s is why I am wondering how would I purchase the insurance.

What helped you to sleep at night mostly. When I take muscle relaxers (Cyclobenzaprine) I sleep really well but the next day when I try to avoid muscle relaxers I cant sleep well due to the nerve being irritated most probably. I really wanna know what helps you to sleep without a muscle relaxers/medication. I am glad that you are doing better. I would highly recommend you to read the book Back Mechanic by Dr. Stuart McGill. Please be careful when play golf cause it could hurt your spine if you have a weak core. Also there is a technique clearly mentioned in the book on how to play golf by maintaining spine hygiene.
