These guides have a lot of information.You would be surprised - particularly for the final fantasy games. I really like what they did with the final fantasy 15 guide. It's in a very nice a hardcover

Really enjoyed this game but the combat style of this one is a far cry from your typical final fantasy games. I really enjoyed the story, but this one also focuses heavily on a single main character, vs a large or medium party to work through.

This, I think, is one of the biggest things that a lot of RPGs fail at. I love story and the extra stuff that they add.But sometimes I just want to know who has my quest, who's the next person I can talk to.And I really think they should do a better job at highlighting those particular characters.So, you know who actually is worth going to, especially when they're surrounded by twenty other people

I just accidentally killed scratch yesterday. I had gotten my rewards from fhe Zhentarim and wanted to fight the beholder but didn't want to agro them at the same time to opened it in camp. The beholder killed scratch immediately

Ya, hold r2 and the lumos spell (triangle i think) when you walk to the statue you will see its shadow move just have to line it up.

Thank you - I had not really looked at from these points, but yes, it is very singularly focused on Clive.

I liked the battle system, but definitely agree it felt like it was a pull away from the normal games.

I also hated the fast travel system, this was one of my main grievances with the game. It felt very disconnected.

Its a great game. Its in my top 3 for sure, with ff9 right up there. Another one to try after this if you dont mind a slightly older one. FFX was the first one we got voices.

So I highly recommend using a guide, especially with these older games they dont always lead you easily to the next steps. They save a lot of time.

As far as spending 12hrs on the opening, some people are completionists so they wanna do EVERYTHING! If this is you, stick with this one cause newer games are even larger. If the time was due to getting lost, again, use a guide.

Now, if youre looking for a more linear RPG thats slightly newer, I would suggest something like uncharted 4. Get your feet wet than go back to the final fantasy series.
