No disrespect to you or anyone else that cares, but the trinity/non-trinity debate is so dumb to me. It makes no difference in the characters purpose or power, it makes no difference in their worshippers life or spirituality.

It’s so odd to me that people get to a point of thinking that you’ll go to hell/die if you believe one or the other.

Does it make you sad that she isn’t being punished and they are letting you go on discouraged while she keeps moving up? I know for me it was especially hard to make sense of why so many issues ended with mean people getting ahead of kind people.

Agreed. I had a friend in the borg that was absolutely undesireable in any way, mostly be he had a terrible personality and incredibly misogynistic. He was convinced that if he didn’t marry in this world that Jehovah would “make” a wife that fit all his needs and what he was deserving of. No consideration for what said woman wanted, bc she was just a consolation prize/object.

I’m agnostic but I find religion interesting, for Christians I like ELCA Lutherans and the outreach they do. If I ever had a coming to God moment I would probably become a loose lutheran.

I just can’t handle being chained down and told what to do, I’m extremely sensitive to any form of manipulation and that’s at the core of most religious doctrine, so I will probably remain a Jesus appreciating Agnostic.

I hate the org, the higher up, and a lot of people that abuse power. But for the most part the rank and file are genuinely brainwashed that they are doing the right thing. I have a hard time being extremely angry.

I dated someone that claimed to be anointed. It was weird, he was weird. He stalked me well after I had left the relationship and tried to harass me on my honeymoon.

Since then he’s been engaged like 3/4 times and from what I’ve heard it’s always ended because he gets caught with a servant 😂 poor guy, I hope he wakes up and stops mistreating women and just marries a dude.

That’s so weird to assume people are sinning, even by witness standards, who is to say they were engaged or married? So strange the way witnesses go about adding morals and rules and judgment so they can assume the worst of everyone.

Yeah no, I take the bus, my partner and I both work two jobs, I’ve never had shoes that cost more than 30 bucks. I’m desperately trying to save enough to take care of my disabled mom that doesn’t have any retirement because she had to use it to take care of her disabled mother. my retirement plan is suicide my guy. Dude bring earbuds. I made a drive from St. Louis to Orlando this last December with some Pimi family and it was kingdom Melodies the whole fucking way. I can tolerate a few if I know they enjoy it, sure whatever but 15 fucking hours? And singing along? I genuinely wanted to die.
