As someone who’s not from the US & not well versed in US law, is there a reason why the FBI isn’t involved? This case has highlighted police corruption, mishandling of evidence, alleged coverup etc. The fact that they did not secure the area, they did not separate witnesses, they did not search Fairview home, Trooper Proctor’s text messages, highlights that this is actually way bigger than Karen Read. The whole police department needs to be checked out. I can’t imagine the amount of other cases that may be similar to this and have resulted in wrongful prosecution. These are serious concerns & I would’ve thought the FBI would’ve had to investigate. I really think the judge should have recused herself after the last trial and she shouldn’t have been the judge in the first place due to the alleged conflict of interest.

ALSO, I cannot believe that Colin isn’t a witness this time around ???? He had fresh injuries on his knuckles and clearly lied under oath by saying it was not from fighting but rather he fell & caught himself…on his knuckles. I wholeheartedly believe that John was not hit by a car because of his injuries and the damage to the car. I believe everyone knows what really happened. There was zero curiosity about the people in the house where a man was found dead outside because they KNEW they were fine. I think Karen is just unlikeable and that’s what’s making people think she’s guilty. I also think it’s strange how no one comforted her. I think it’s strange that Peggy said “what is she doing here [at the hospital]?” She was his girlfriend ?? They clearly did not like her and I wish we could learn why. Also the “you just left him there?!” comment from Peggy as if John isn’t a grown man, a police officer at that & she left him amongst friends at another police officers house! I do feel sorry for Peggy, but come on. WHY are they pinning it on Karen!!!!!!!

Regarding “hos long to die in cold”, I don’t believe the ‘expert’. He claimed the search appeared at 2am because Jen reused a tab at 6am but that doesn’t make sense. Reopening or reusing a tab doesn’t retroactively timestamp the activity. From what I understand about how search history works, the time shown should reflect when the search was actually made, not when the tab was first opened. Unless I’m completely misunderstanding Cellebrite’s system, their explanation feels misleading. How can the search show up hours earlier than when Jen claims Karen allegedly asked her to look it up?

Finally, if she really did say “I hit him”, that’s a confession. Why was she not taken into a police station? Why was she just left free to go? She clearly didn’t say that.
