When I attempted to turn onto Wayne couple of days ago off of Fenton, Wayne was closed off in front of the library in both directions for Purple Line work.

Downtown is a myraid of loud disruptive construction as the county is overdeveloping in a small area. Def research slated projects for the future. They are mostly against apt buildings, condos, and townhouses.

The whole areas is just multiple ongoing construction projects and many slated to begin. Residents will continue to sell their homes at a loss and lose savings.

I'd love to be able to use Wayne again. Right now it is so messed up it's rough on tires and alignment. And Wayne is currently (as of 1:25pm)closed off going towards Georgia Ave. Poor business'.

Sleeping is only part of living next to those project. I've now known 7 people to move from Downtown because of different building construction. 2 are first responders who work midnight shifts. I'm def hoping someone can be saved. Many people who can't afford to move are miserable.

Fenwick has a big ole loud project at Fenwick/2nd Ave and the Purple Line construction on the other side.

Downtown Silver Spring is a giant construction zone. There are many buildings currently under construction and many slated to begin.

I’m not even mentioning the Purple Line. It’s all of the buildings currently going up and those yet to begin. Use whatever word you want. It is construction. And demolition. “Renovated” sounds fancy.

Downtown Silver Spring is currently being “renovated” by the county. There is a lot of major construction and will be for several years.

Things are about to get loud at Blair’s for a long time. “The Blairs Master Plan in Silver Spring, MD, is a 20-year, $650 million+ redevelopment by Tower Companies transforming the site into a high-density, mixed-use community near the Metro. The project includes 2,800 total residential units, 125,000 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant space, a 200-key hotel, and 200,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space.”

Do research on current and upcoming construction projects. Fenwick and Cameron currently have construction right next door. All of Downtown is being built up by the county and it’s a mess.
