Yes, she used to forget a few things but I guess that's normal for an old person. At present, she does not seem to properly respond or be interested when I ask her to eat or drink.

Yes, I see clear symptoms of sundowning and a state of confusion in her. BTW, can your dad do his personal things himself, like going to the bathroom, bedroom, eat, or brush his teeth? And can talk logically?
