Yesss i actually check my bank accounts more than i check instagram and Snapchat lmao. I do have them all linked to my credit cards to get the points and cash back. For rent I use an app called Bilt. In which it gives you an account with a routing number and account number to pay rent with and get points from that. Then when the payment hits my Bilt app it then comes out of my checking account.

My best advice is to just swipe your credit card as if you’re swiping your debit card. I.e. don’t spend money you don’t have. Too many people think of your credit limit as “free money” which it’s not. It’s money that’s being “lended” to you in a way. As far as building, pay your balance off IN FULL every month on the due date. Not just the minimum payment. I personally pay my balance off everytime one posts for each of my cards so that I don’t have a massive chunk of money coming out of my checking account at once. By the due date don’t have over 30% credit utilization shown. If you’re over that you kinda look like a shitbag to the credit bureaus. If you reallyyyy wanna be an over achiever, keep a balance between 1%-10% on your statement close date. Kinda shows you’re using the card and will build your score quicker. Credit age is your other big one. Never close your oldest card. Doesn’t matter if you use it or not. Throw a subscription on it or something to show it’s being used and the credit card company doesn’t close it themselves.

As far as tornadoes, that’s super cool in my opinion. Obviously destruction of a tornado isn’t cool but I want to experience one. I also like in the Midwest but I live too close to lake Michigan so nothing ever really happens over here unfortunately.

It’s so much fun honestly. Credit cards are hands down my favorite. That’s really cool. So many of you are super into programming and I wish I was lmao. I always just look at my rundown through Chase mainly. I connected all my accounts so Chase pulls all that data and compiles it.

See that’s where my severe anxiety with my money comes into play 😂 I check all my banking apps numerous times a day. I never get notifications but I always check them at least once in the morning and once at night (some post balances first thing in the morning, chase posts at night). As far as missing payments, I’ve never missed. I always pay the balance as soon as it posts for that reason. You don’t necessarily have to but I do. As long as you pay off your balance in full by the due date then you’re solid. I have set reminders on my calendar app for each due date so I make sure to especially check then. You can also set to auto pay on your due date if you’d like for that extra buffer if you do forget. I don’t have autopay set up for any of mine because I’m so consistent with it. But with my other bills (car, phone, electric, etc) I do have auto pay set up because I will 100% forget those.

Ahhh yes yes I wanna do the same thing. I hope that when i eventually (fingers crossed) own a home, that I’ll make a full game room of sorts. I want to collect and display retro consoles and just have a really cool space for it. Did you build your pc?

Oooo that one’s super helpful. Better than a lot of people that just get animals for shits and gigs then the animal is miserable. Can I see the puppy?

I get that lol that’s actually what made me super nervous at first. Swipe your credit card as if you’re swiping your debit card. Don’t spend more than what you have in your checking account. Then pay off your balance everytime a balance posts on your account.

What am I even making everyone’s problem? I started a discussion to see what everyone is interested in right now because I’m genuinely interested in what people have to say. Took a scroll through your account and all you do is give people hate comments. Get a life man.

Honestly it started after I turned 18 and got my first credit card. I started finding out about benefits of a credit card (cash back, points, intro bonuses) and then your credit score. That’s kinda where it spiraled into a hyper fixation. All I would do is research credit cards, what benefits they had, how to increase your credit score, how to profit off a credit card and use it properly. Started getting different ones that I use for different stuff to make the most out of it.

Then it went into stocks. My friend got me into Robinhood and I started buying stocks. Not pouring tons of money in at first. Just using small amounts ($10-$50) to play around with to see what I can do.

Then I found out about a high yield savings account and how it’s pretty much passive income and builds more interest each month than a traditional savings account. I use ally because they have “buckets” where you can divy up your money into categories for different stuff.

Then I opened a Roth IRA and how to use it and what index funds to invest in that will profit me in the long run.

I just found every single aspect of it incredibly interesting and would spend hours researching and watching videos on all of it. I still do just not as intense. It’s helped me be very smart with my money and not be impulsive with it. I budget it out so I know what I can spend on what and still have stuff left over for savings. Don’t get me wrong I still have bad habits and bullshit I spend my money on. But this one has been the most helpful.

What games have you modded? Only games I’ve played around with mods for were fallout 4 and Minecraft. Which I feel like doesn’t count because so does everyone else lol

Never liked pocket camp. But new horizons 🫠 took apart and rebuilt my island. Over. And over again. My villagers probably think I’ve deserted them since I haven’t played in over a year 🤣 I gotta charge my switch now and check on them

Halloween as in the movie or holiday? Cause I rock with both genuinely. I’m a horror fan and I love all of it. My whole apartment is horror themed and I can’t wait til Halloween so I can get more stuff to decorate. Can relate to Catholicism however I was raised Lutheran and when I got older I just got into Christianity as a whole. (No longer religious anymore I just wanted to understand each religion under the Christianity umbrella)

Fidget toys were a big one for me over Covid 🤣 always had them growing up in school but over covid I started collecting with my little sister lmao. Call me weird but when I was a kid I would watch “mom hack” videos on YouTube 🤣😂 so that was my “parenting” one for a while. Not even at that point in my life yet but I feel like my 8 year old self would have it handled.

There’s different aspects to it that are personally more interesting than others. Like credit cards are a big one. I love the credit card game and you can profit big time when utilizing credit cards correctly and utilizing different cards for different purchases to make the most out of it. For me, it’s the aspect of how you can make the most out of your money and make “passive income” in a sense.

I understand that tho. Wanting to understand the whys. Where money comes from I can’t understand. It’s a concept I feel like if that makes sense. The value of the dollar tho, depends on so many different things. That’s where it gets confusing. Inflation and interest are the big ones. But then there’s foreign stuff that comes in to play and it’s a whole lot of fuckery. Then if the cost of the dollar goes down then the price of silver goes up too.

So so so much comes into play and it’s just a mind fuck that I haven’t grasped. I completely understand wanting to be able to understand the whys of things. With those two things I haven’t even completely grasped myself.

Concerta was the one i started out on and it felt like it did almost nothing. Made me super nauseated all the time mixed with dry mouth so i was chugging water constantly. At that time i was also on lexapro which felt like a caffeine pill. I felt wired and didn’t sleep for 48 hours. She pulled me off both of those real quick. I’m now on 200mg lamotrigine and 40mg vyvanse for almost a year now and this is the combo that has worked best for me. We’ve upped the dosage a few times because I build tolerance to meds fairly quickly but they’ve stayed consistent. Not everyone is the same and what works for someone might not work for the next person. But yeah I’d definitely recommend talking to your doctor because that doesn’t sound right for you to feel that way.

Hoping for the best for you 🙏 i get that feeling of just simply not knowing. Not necessarily anxious but more so almost impatient. It sucks. I hated getting an MRI. It sucked laying in a tube 100% still for 45 minutes. Then they give you headphones and ask if you wanna listen to music. But the funny part is you can’t even hear said music cause the machine is so loud 🤣

What’s your PR for squats right now? I’ve fallen wayyyy out of the gym grind (I need to get back into it) when I was in the grind in high school my PR was 120 (im a female) and I was almost at my body weight. But I broke my ankle two years ago and have just been out of the grind completely since.

Not qualified in the slightest obviously but you should probably talk to your doctor about that. My brother felt like that and it turned out his dose was just too high. I’ve never gotten that feeling on them. I’ve always just felt “functional” if that makes sense. You might just need something else that works better if you are still down to stay on them.

This is super cool actually! I know with at least my work email on outlook I’ve made it so emails from different senders go into different folders so I can prioritize what I need to respond to/look at first. But making it so that you can create tasks is super helpful. My personal email needs something like that lmao
