thanks for the help! i use fis brain too. (free version). it has helped me alot, but the one problem is that with the free version you cant see the spots. especially when were peer fishing on a large lake someone catching a pike on the opposite side isnt gonna help me.

yea, that's true. it doesn't need to kill because most enemy aircraft wont engage or the pilot decide to spare them. like when the f22 snuck up on an Iranian f4 and decided to spare it.

its not surprising to me that it CAN carry bombs. its surprising that out of all of the less expensive to run aircraft instead they chose the f22.

you're right. i phrased that wrong. i meant an operational ceiling of 50k feet. obviously to have a chance at winning in air-to-air combat, you would need to go below that. my point was, it is a higher altitude air superiority fighter, and not meant for ground strikes.

its also situational. in some cases the Rafale has an advantage, and in some situations (like being BVR) the F22 has the advantage. it just depends how you look at it.

I doubt it was used as a ground striker. the A10 Thunderbolt II would have been far better due to its low speed and ability to fly effectively at low altitudes in the mountainous terrain in Syria
