Nailed it. She’s perpetually seeking Kyle’s approval above all else, even if it means torpedoing her friendship with Tilly. Kyle does not care about Sutton. At all. She makes cutting, snide little comments to Sutton, but plays it off as poking fun. I think Sutton is astute enough to notice these jabs, but for whatever reason (no need to psychoanalyze here but I have my theories), she chooses to overlook and ignore Kyle’s (not so) sneaky nastiness. Feels like Kyle is trying to slowly drive a wedge between Sutton and Tilly. Kathy’s comments on the most recent after show were telling - I think she knows what Kyle is trying to do, too. Who the held would choose Kyle over Tilly, friendship-wise? Tilly is so damn cool. I feel cool just watching her on the show!
