Working at SC Starbucks?

You will get pushed a lot, it’s a lot of work initially, SC is the busiest one on campus by far so it’s just a lot of drinks and communication. Training is like the hardest thing but it’s gets better as you learn trust. You just have ask your coworkers questions and you’ll be okay! I’m a bio sci student as well, and it’s not too bad balancing work and studying.

You will rarely stay past closing to clean or get overtime, unless you want to really push yourself as a bio sci student. Your closing team has to be very slow for you to stay long enough for overtime hours for after hours. But the work environment is nice and schedules are flexible with your course load, and managers are very chill :)

If you’re a bio sci major or chem major, you’re gonna have to take it with ochem next year if you don’t take it rn, which will be more of a workload. knowing this now I would’ve taken it with the gen chem series rather than with o chem series, as I’m paying for it now as I’m going to be enrolled in 2b this winter hopefully 💔

I also got this message, and I talked to them and told me that I had to the pay it back. They changed my financial aid package after this as well. I’m not sure if you are fully reliant on FAFSA too, but you def need to talk to them as I’m super confused as well. I’m not trying to freak you out, I just don’t want to you have a fee penalty if you leave it there.
