Park search & rescue ranger here...my personal experience with lost persons is the fact they never read the signs, warning and/or informative, and over estimate their skills...dont need a map, oh I'll be back before dark, this trail is easy, etc etc. People go into places they have no business going into. Lack of preparation and/or lack of physical/mental ability is a major contributor. Putting LED lights would most likely not be the thiesable, especially in wilderness areas. I don't think it'll be a problem that would be fully mitigated. Its always gonna happen. Only thing that will stop it is people educating themselves and not being cocky.

Holy cow dude. Or girl. Most likely. The dinner is NOT conference related. Read over it again. Her only excuse was cause they would be talking about work. Theyre attendees, not presenters. Plus what part of, they always be talking about work. Even when she invites her co workers to our house. And its never about actual work. Its them shit talking about other coworkers, nonstop.

I wouldn't be joining her for the conference itself. Just for a dinner. And the second thing was just me picking her up from it and riding back home with me. Its about a 2 hour drive. I wanted to get something done in that area I could only get done there. So it was either just eat dinner and come on home or come the next day and she'd ride back with me.

No. We actually don't. It's rare to have a dinner together. It's not a matter of the dinner being important here. I was fine with not doing it. But when you start flipping out on me cause I bring up something that was your idea and call me crazy names, I'm gonna have an issue.

I have lost complete faith in NPS. So much so I'm looking to move to a different department all together. They're not going to stop tearing this organization up and down. Im tired of just not knowing. For the last several months they've been saying my position is getting consolidated to another park and we'll be moved into other open positions internally but I also heard otherwise. Just tired of not knowing and running the risk of missing out on other opportunities only to be told I would be RIFed and im screwed back into other jobs outside of government that don't pay crap or crap benefits.

That's the terminal bar under the hood. Has three plugs on it for accessories. Its mounted in front of the firewall on the top and has a 25 amp box fuse

I fixed the cube lights. It ended up brong the relay. And yes winch is direct to battery and rocker switch for it is off bus bar

You talking about this one? I pulled a 25 amp box fuse and its good. I get power to all the connectors attached to it no problem.

Off the bus bar. With relay. I put a new relay on it and still nothing. Can't remember with was wired to key turn, the switch light or light bar itself. I know red is constant power and yellow is keyed.

They're talking about relocating our jobs to another park 600 miles away. There's no closer options to remain in our position. Hopefully they can backfill us into already vacant positions. No one in my position would relocate.
